The Indiana Jones and the Great Circle PS5 release date has been set for 17 April, Bethesda and Microsoft has today confirmed.
“Indiana Jones and the Great Circle has been visually optimized for the PlayStation 5 Pro,” reads a press release. “In tandem with the PlayStation 5 launch, players can look forward to new whip abilities, Open Season and Sleight of Hand. With Open Season, whip-cracking an enemy will temporarily cause them to take more damage from subsequent attacks, while when using Sleight of Hand, players can disarm an enemy and cause their weapon to fly Indy’s way.”
The two new abilities will also be available on Windows PC and Xbox Series S & X from 15 April. The Great Circle also supports “Vibration function and trigger effect supported (DualSense wireless controller),” on PS5 and PS5 Pro, according to the PlayStation Store.
Pre-orders are live on the US-facing PlayStation Store ($69.99 USD), and of course on the Australian storefront ($119.95 AUD). There’s a physical collector’s edition is also available for $189.99 USD, which ships to the US and Canada. A physical collector’s edition is not available direct to Australian or New Zealand consumers.
“Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a delightful return to Dr Jones in his prime,” Ben wrote in our Xbox review. “It’s a narrative-driven first-person adventure game, which does more than capture the essence of the original films — it crafts something worthy of joining them. If you’re not already an Indy fan, there’s not enough here to change your tune, as the gameplay alone isn’t enough to carry it.”
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle heads to PS5 and PS5 Pro on 17 April. It’s already available on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X, and part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions.
