Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a timed Xbox exclusive

And, honestly, not for very long (if the rumours are true)...

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle may be a timed Xbox exclusive, heading to PlayStation in the first half of 2025.

A report of the alleged timed exclusivity comes via Nate The Hate, who also reported on some of Microsoft’s first-party titles heading to PlayStation and Switch.

“MachineGames’ Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will release on Xbox & PC this holiday (Dec) as a timed console exclusive,” wrote Nate the Hate. “After this timed-exclusive window expires, Indiana Jones & the Great Circle is planned to come to PlayStation 5 in the first half of 2025.”

This claim aligns with a similar report from The Verge back in February of this year. That outlet suggested that Microsoft was planning a PS5 release “some months” after the title’s debut on Windows PC and Xbox.

Microsoft has yet to address the report, but we’ll keep you informed as the situation progresses.

Update: Microsoft has used Gamescom to confirm the reports were true.

“Revealed during gamescom’s Opening Night Live, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be available on December 9 for Xbox Series X|S consoles, PC and Game Pass and will be launching on PlayStation 5 in Spring 2025,” Microsoft said in a press release.

For now, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is planned for a 9 December 2024 release on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. It’ll also become available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass.
