Indiana Jones and the Great Circle download size looks to be 131GB

Prepare yourselves.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle heads to Xbox and PC in a week, and a new social media post suggests the title will be a 131.69GB download over on Xbox.

While those with Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass can currently “pre-install” The Great Circle on both platforms, that particular download is just a 10 MB placeholder at present. The real deal, as it turns out, will be considerably larger.

“HUGE! Indiana Jones and the Grand Circle isn’t just BIG in name! The download for the game for Xbox Series X|S is over 130 GB,” reads a Twitter post which accompanies a screenshot of the title downloading onto local storage.

“It’s complicated for people who are going to play on Xbox Series S and will definitely have to uninstall something,” the post continues.

While we’ve been unable to confirm the download size ourselves, we’ve asked Microsoft for comment. Regardless, it might be worth freeing up some storage if needed if you’re itching to play.

In a recent preview, we said The Great Circle “nail[s] the feeling of actually being the fabled adventurer,” whilst “feel[ing] like you’re watching a proper Indiana Jones feature film”.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is planned for a 9 December 2024 release on Windows PC, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. It’ll also be part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscriptions.
