HQ trivia app heads to Android for Christmas

The HQ trivia app will soon be available on Android devices, its creators teased.

The app, available now on iOS, has been created by two co-creators of Vine. Similar to things like 1 vs. 100 and Trivia Crack, the app’s unique in that it hosts two live games of trivia each day — one at 7.00 am AEDT and another at 1.00 pm AEDT for us Aussies.

The live format means thousands of players join at one time to take part in a 12-question, single-elimination game. Those that make it to the end of a game split a $1,000 USD jackpot. Not a bad haul for having useless knowledge banging around your head, eh?

At any rate, HQ took to its Twitter account to promise Android availability for Christmas.

We’ll let you know when Android access becomes available.

Do you play HQ? What do you think of it?
