House Flipper 2 console release delayed to April

Patience, flippers.

The House Flipper 2 console release has been delayed from March into April, developer Frozen District has today confirmed.

According to the developer, the delay will provide “extra time to optimize the gameplay for console certification, and to include both the Spring and April Fool’s Day updates (arriving April 1st) for all console players.”

Said updates will offer players on console — and, of course, those already on PC — new furniture, decore, and additions including new buyers, a new hour, and a new special job.

“House Flipper 2 improves upon the design-and-management formula of the original, while introducing a host of brand-new features, as well as a complete overhaul of the first game’s mechanics—all presented in a crisp new visual style,” the developer said of its sequel.

“In House Flipper 2, players can unleash their creativity with ease in the all-new Sandbox mode. This feature allows you to construct homes and missions from the ground up, recreate buildings from real life or homes featured in hallmark movies, and share your creations with the entire Community.”

If you like what you’ll see above, you can play House Flipper 2 on PC right now, or on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5 from 10 April.
