Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered coming October with $10 USD upgrade path

On both PS5 and PC.

Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered will head to PC and PS5 on 31 October, offering a $10 USD upgrade path for existing owners.

“The captivating story and awe-inspiring post-apocalyptic world returns alongside a host of technological improvements, visual enhancements, and upgraded features,” Sony said. “It also includes The Frozen Wilds content, a vast expansion featuring additional lands, skills, weapons, and machines.”

While the PS5 version will offer support for DualSense haptic feedback, the PC version will also include Trophy support, DLSS 3, and more.

“For existing owners of Horizon Zero Dawn (PS4, PC) and/or Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition (PS4, PS5, PC): you can upgrade to the digital version of Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered for $9.99 [USD] on both PlayStation 5 console and on PC (via Steam or Epic Game Store). This includes fans who added the game to their libraries during PlayStation’s Play At Home initiative,” Sony confirmed.

In Australia, that upgrade fee is likely going to be closer to $15 AUD. Those who own a copy of the title on physical disc will need to insert it into their PS5 to play.

Horizon Zero Dawn is currently available on Windows PC, PS4, and PS5. Remastered heads to PC and PS5 on 31 October.
