Horizon Forbidden West targets 2021 release date

Horizon Forbidden West will not head to the PS5 until 2021, developer Guerrilla confirmed as part of a behind-the-scenes video detailing the game.

Alongside the news of this targeted release date also comes more information about the game itself. The Forbidden West is an area that stretches from Utah all the way to the west coast and the Pacific Ocean. A very large area, Guerrila has boasted that fast travel will be almost instantaneous, with “virtually no loading screens”.

The map will also feature lakes and rivers that Aloy can swim in, something that was highlighted in great detail and beauty during the game’s reveal last week.

We’ll have more on Horizon Forbidden West as it’s made available. The title is a PS5 exclusive targeting a 2021 release.
