A total of 15 minutes of Horizon Forbidden West PS5 gameplay was shown overnight, and we’ve got it for you here.
“Join Aloy as she braves the Forbidden West, a deadly frontier that conceals mysterious new threats,” Sony and Guerrilla Games said, introducing the gameplay.
The gameplay video showcased Aloy’s new arsenal, complete with new traversal tools. She can use a projectile-based grappling hook known as the Pullcaster, a Shieldwing glider and can dive thanks to a new diving mask.
Aloy will also be able to upgrade Focus to override new mechanical beasts known as Clawstriders.
Horizon Forbidden West is expected on both PS4 and PS5; a 2021 release windows was originally announced, but Guerrilla has today said that “we don’t have an exact release date yet, but development is on track and we’ll have an update for you very soon.”
