Horizon Call of the Mountain heading to PlayStation VR2

Horizon Call of the Mountain was today confirmed as a PlayStation VR2 title by Sony and Guerrilla Games.

Announced during CES today, Guerrilla will partner with Firesprite for the virtual reality (VR) title.

Also at CES, Sony confirmed that PlayStation VR2 will offer up 4K HDR with foveated rendering and an expanded field of view. The PSVR2’s Sense Controllers were also showcased as part of the vent.

“Horizon Call of the Mountain, created for PlayStation’s Next-Gen VR hardware, is an upcoming brand-new adventure in the world of Horizon,” Sony said of the title. “Embrace a new level of immersion in an unique experience, designed to push hardware technology, innovation, and gameplay.”

We’ll have more on Horizon Call of the Mountain as it’s made available. Horizon Forbidden West heads to PS4 and PS5 on 18 February 2022.
