Yay?
Hi-Fi Rush has received its final update ahead of the closure of the studio that made it, Tango Softworks.
As Hi-Fi Rush was only released onto PS5 in March 2024, it’s unsurprisingly received the lion’s share of fixes in the patch, though there are corrections made on PC and Xbox as well.
“Thank you again for your support of Hi-Fi Rush. You’re all rockstars,” Tango said as part of the patch notes.
Microsoft announced the closure of Tango Softworks alongside Alpha Dog Studios and Redfall‘s Arkane Austin earlier this month. The closure comes, as we mentioned, just after the release of Hi-Fi Rush onto PlayStation.
Just one year ago, Microsoft’s Aaron Greenberg declared Hi-Fi Rush “a break out hit for us and our players in all key measurements and expectations”. Hi-Fi Rush was also the winner of Stevivor’s Best Xbox Game and Best Sound Design awards in our Game of the Year 2023 program.
Hi-Fi Rush is available now on Windows PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store alongside Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5. The title is also available on Xbox and PC Game Pass.
