Hi-Fi Rush adds two new modes in free Arcade Challenge! update

Jump in.

Hi-Fi Rush has received a free update called Arcade Challenge! that comes complete with two new modes.

First, BPM! Rush has players engaging “through escalating fights where the songs speed up as they progress,” Bethesda said.

The mode has three settings — Easy, Normal and EX — with each rising all the way up to 200 beats per minute (BPM).

“While in Power Up! Tower Up! players will climb a remixed version of the existing Rhythm Tower mode filled with randomized enemy sets and challenges, but with an extra catch: Chai starts powered down, losing all his upgrades,” Bethesda continued. “Players will collect upgrades between rounds to amp your skills back up but choose wisely: upgrades also carry special traits that affect the next battle, giving players a helpful boost, or adding additional challenges!”

The update also adds two new enemies, new rewards, costumes and “a secret final prize for players who clear all 40 challenges tied to the two new modes.”

You can check out the update in action below.

Hi-Fi Rush is available now on Windows PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Microsoft Store alongside Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. The title is also available on Xbox and PC Game Pass.
