Here’s your latest look at the Until Dawn Remake

Looks... the same?

Today’s PlayStation State of Play has given us our latest look at the Until Dawn remake.

Oddly enough, the new PS5 title looks a lot like the highly cinematic PS4 original.

“When eight friends return to the isolated lodge where two of their group vanished a year prior, fear tightens its icy grip, and their mountain retreat descends into a nightmare with no escape,” Sony said of the remake.

Until Dawn was first released on PS4 in 2015. We reviewed it here, saying, “Until Dawn is a hugely enjoyable piece of entertainment”.

“I’m hesitant to call it a game, because while it clearly is one it straddles other forms of entertainment simultaneously,” our reviewer continued. “Its claims of a massively branching and divergent narrative are hugely overstated, but while playing, the potential for such is palpable. It’s a decent and sometimes very clever horror story with enough self-awareness to avoid the pitfalls of the genre.”

Expect the Until Dawn remake later in 2024. The title will be made available on both PS5 and PC.
