Here’s Final Fantasy 16’s newest trailer

Not long until release.

A new Final Fantasy 16 trailer today debuted at the PlayStation Showcase 2023.

Called “Salvation,” the trailer “sets the stage for what players can expect when they step into Valisthea next month, where we see the harsh circumstances faced by the Bearers, those born with the ability to cast magicks at will, and we see the truth that lies behind the Mothercrystals, long supposed to have bestowed blessings upon humanity,” Square Enix said in a press release.

The trailer “also offers a glimpse of the first steps of Clive Rosfield, the protagonist of the game, as he and his allies fight to take back control of their fate,” Square Enix continued.

A special Final Fantasy 16 pre-launch livestream is scheduled for 12 June here in Australia.

Final Fantasy 16 heads to PS5 on 22 June 2023. The Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $144.95 AUD and is up on the PlayStation Store. In comparison, the standard edition will set you back $114.95 AUD.
