Here’s a new Dead Island 2 gameplay trailer

Nestled within a 15 minute total presentation.

A new gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2 is now available, part of a longer 15 minute presentation.

If you want to skip the marketing stuff and just head straight to the goods, you can do so by heading to around 3:40 in the video below.

As for what all the live-action stuff is for is anyone’s guess, but you can see some brutal combat — quite literally, as that’s what flashes up on the screen — in the gameplay segments. Perhaps most importantly, you can see the game’s environmental hazards and elemental stuff at play.

The title was recently delayed — again — until 28 April.

Expect Dead Island 2 on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5 ; we previewed it here earlier in the year.
