Halo Wars 2 will not have HDR support on Xbox One S

Speaking with FenixBazaar, 343 Industries’ Clay Jensen confirmed that Halo Wars 2 will not have HDR support on the Xbox One S.

“I wish that I could say yes,” Jensen said.

“Unfortunately, we are not going to have HDR support for Halo Wars 2. We do support 4K on PC, which looks gorgeous, and you definitely need to play that because it’s stunning.”

It’s unclear if 4K support extends to the Xbox One S.

Halo Wars 2 heads to Windows PC and Xbox One as part of the Xbox Play Anywhere program on 21 February 2017.
