Halo Master Chief Collection teases “new place and way to play”

Don't get your hopes up, though...

Halo The Master Chief Collection developer 343 Industries has teased a “new place and way to play” the collection of classic Halo titles.

While some are hopeful this is a tease of a release on PS4, PS5 or Switch, others say it’s likely a Windows PC release via the Epic Games Store.

The Master Chief Collection is currently available for Windows PC via the Microsoft Store and Steam, though Microsoft’s State of Decay 2 has also been released onto the Epic Games Store. If we were a betting site (and we’re not), we’d wager The Master Chief Collection will follow suit.

We’ll of course keep you posted as we learn more; at present, 343 hasn’t confirmed the new platform. With that said, would you buy Halo on PlayStation or Switch if you could?

Halo The Master Chief Collection is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series S & X, part of Xbox Game Pass on all those platforms.
