Halo Infinite update fixes Achievements, improves Quick Resume

Rejoice!

A new Halo Infinite update has fixed Achievements alongside an improvement of reliability when it comes to Quick Resume.

The first fix applies to both Quick Resume when it comes to campaign and multiplayer, 343 Industries advised.

The update features “improvements to online service connections after re-entering Halo Infinite using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X|S consoles,” according to 343. As we noted yesterday, Quick Resume has been linked to a bug that causes save file corruptions, so we’d personally steer clear of using it until that’s corrected as well.

Finally, the update has fixed both Achievements and Mjolnir Armory collection.

“Players who did not previously receive their [Mjolnir Armory] customizations, due to either losing their internet connection or using Quick Resume, should not have their customizations unlocked,” 343 said.

“Achievements no longer track incremental progress toward their completion, but will unlock as expected when completed,” 343 added. “If an Achievement’s conditions were met prior to this update but the Achievement did not unlock as completed yet, it should unlock after installing this update and continuing Campaign gameplay.”

Halo Infinite is now live on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X. Check out our Halo Infinite review here and our collectibles guide here.
