Halo Infinite has an end point; Season 5 will be its last

More like Halo Finite, am I right?

Halo Infinite Season 5 will be the final season of the title, 343 Industries has confirmed. Instead, the studio will work on smaller “Operation” events and “brand new projects”.

“We have a dedicated team working on supporting Halo Infinite and continuing to deliver coming forward, but also, we have additional teams now that are accelerating towards the future working on brand new projects,” said 343 community director Brian Jarrard.

After Season 5 concludes, Operation events will run for appproximately 4-6 weeks and feature 20-tier Battle Passes.

Season 5 kicks off on 31 January here in Australia, offering up new Covenant items in Forge, a new arena map, a free Mark IV Spartan core, and a new operation (not to be confused with a new Operation). You can learn more about all that and what’s to come for Halo Infinite in the video below.

Halo Infinite is currently avaliable on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, and Xbox Series X. It’s also part of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass. We reviewed it here.
