Hacker group claims responsibility for the DDoS attack on the PlayStation Network

Hacker group Lizard Squad has claimed responsibility for the DDoS attack against the PlayStation Network. At the time of writing, the PSN is still down.

Lizard Squad says the DDos attack is in response to Sony’s greed.

They further that monies charged by PlayStation Plus, now compulsory for online play, caused another reason for the attack.

The hacker group then referenced ISIS, a Syrian militant group.
