Guerrilla to fix “various visual issues” inside Horizon Forbidden West

The developer is on the case.

Horizon Forbidden West developer Guerrilla Games has acknowledged “various visual issues” inside Horizon Forbidden West, also vowing to fix the issues that weren’t rectified inside a day one patch.

“Thank you for sharing your various visual issues with us via our Support Form,” Guerrilla advised on Reddit. “The team are working vigilantly to resolve these issues with high priority and are aiming to get an update out as soon as possible.

“Please continue to use the Support Form and share videos (recordings of your TV/monitor are useful) and provide us with as much information as possible.”

As we’ve detailed in our review, we’ve experienced issues with the title beyond Guerrilla’s day one patch.

“The day one patch rectified some of the loading issues — which sees the game blink black for a second as it attempts to catch up — but not all of them,” Joab wrote. “Animals — both critters and dinobots — pop-in out of nowhere still. It stands out even more against the sheer gorgeousness that is Horizon Forbidden West on PS5.”

We’ll let you know when additional patches are dropped.

Horizon Forbidden West is available now on PS4 and PS5; we reviewed it here.
