Guardians of the Galaxy Play Set confirmed for Disney Infinity 2.0: Marvel Super Heroes

Disney Interactive today announced that Disney Infinity 2.0‘s next Play Set will be a “Guardians of the Galaxy” one, inspired by the upcoming Marvel film of the same name.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy Play Set” features Star-Lord and the rest of the Guardians as they protect Knowhere from the evil Ronan the Accuser.

Playable characters in the Play Set include Star-Lord, Rocket Raccoon, Drax, Gamora and Groot. Crossover characters feature Iron Man from “The Avengers” Play Set and Nova from “The Spider-Man” Play Set). The characters and “Guardians” assets will also be available in the Infinity Toy Box 2.0.

The “Guardians of the Galaxy” Play Set will be available alongside Disney Infinity 2.0Marvel Super Heroes this spring.

Guardians of the Galaxy opens in Australian cinemas on 7 August.
