Grounded demo available now on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox One

Grounded demo is now available to players on both Windows PC via Steam and Xbox One.

Admittedly, it’s a lot easier to get the demo on PC — head to Steam, click download and you’re done. If you’re after it on Xbox One, you’ll first need to be registered as an Xbox Insider.

The demo appears to be similar to the one we experienced back at X019, offering 30 minutes of single-player gameplay so you can check things out for yourself. Fair warning that things get pretty hectic at the end of that time period. You also have until 22 June to try the demo out.

Grounded is planned for release on 28 July via Xbox Game Preview (free via Xbox Game Pass) and on Steam through Steam Early Access.

Steve's the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Stevivor.com, the country’s leading independent video games outlet. Steve arrived in Australia back in 2001 on what was meant to be a three-month working holiday before deciding to emigrate and, eventually, becoming a citizen.

Stevivor is a combination of ‘Steve’ and ‘Survivor’, which made more sense back in 2001 when Jeff Probst was up in Queensland. The site started as Steve’s travel blog before transitioning over into video games.

Aside from video games, Steve has interests in hockey and Star Trek, playing the former and helping to cover video games about the latter on TrekMovie.com. By day, Steve works as the communications manager of the peak body representing Victorians as they age.
