Gravity Rush 2 online servers remain in place until July

Gravity Rush 2‘s online servers have been given a short stay of execution by Sony.

Originally meant to be turned off late last week, the game’s servers will now remain available for six more months. The servers will remain in place until 4.00 pm AEST on 18 July.

Online servers aren’t required for most of Gravity Rush 2, but do offer the chance to send and receive challenges, treasure hunts and buy furniture for the in-game photo mode. The servers also offer leaderboards.

What do you make of the extension? Should a game have online servers available for longer than a year and a half?

Gravity Rush 2 is a PS4 exclusive. We reviewed it here.
