Grand Theft Auto 6 targets Q3 2025 release date

Mark those calendars?

Grand Theft Auto 6 is targeting a Q3 2025 release date, or a Fall 2025 release date if you’re in the northern hemisphere (which we are not, fellow Aussies).

The release window comes as part of a Take-Two 2024 year-end financial report.

“We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase,” Take-Two said of the next — and highly anticipated — Grand Theft Auto title.

Take-Two’s release window comes after rumours that the next GTA would be delayed to 2026.

Grand Theft Auto VI continues our efforts to push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences,” said Rockstar Games’ Sam Houser back when the title was revealed in December of last year.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently planned for a Q3 2025 release on Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PS5.
