God of War Ragnarok release date set for 9 November

And we get a new trailer to boot!

The God of War Ragnarok release date has been set for 9 November, thanks to a new trailer released by Sony Santa Monica overnight.

“Join Kratos and Atreus on a mythic journey for answers before the prophesied battle that will end the world. All the while, the eyes of Asgard watch their every move,” the developer said alongside the trailer.

The trailer is admittedly short — 30 seconds — and features segments listed as “not actual gameplay” as part of the spectacle. Nevertheless, it’s one of the bigger looks we’ve had at Ragnarok since its announcement.

You can check out the trailer below.

Expect God of War Ragnarok on PS4 and PS5 from 9 November 2022.
