God of War Ragnarok has four main graphics options

All the choice.

God of War Ragnarok has four main graphics options, we’re today learning from previews dropping today.

Eurogamer has grouped the four main options accordingly:

  • Favour Resolution: 4K resolution with a targeted 30 frames-per-second (FPS)
  • Favour Performance: Dynamic, upscaled 4k with a targeted 60FPS
  • Favour Resolution & High Frame Rate Mode: 4K resolution with a targeted 40FPS (VRR required)
  • Favour Performance & High Frame Rate Mode: Dynamic, upscaled 4K with a targeted 120FPS (VRR required)

According to the site, “targeted” is the real keyword there; it’s not ready to fully weigh in on what Ragnarok can achieve but suggests that number “may come out slightly less” than what Sony has stated.

God of War Ragnarok heads to PS4 and PS5 on 9 November. We’ll have post-release coverage of the game coming as a result of our current standing with Sony Australia.
