God of War: Ascension release date, Collector’s Editions announced

Sony has just confirmed that God of War: Ascension will be descending from Mount Olympus (or thereabouts) from 14 March in Australia and New Zealand.

Sony has also confirmed both Special and Collector’s Editions of the game.The Collector’s Edition contains a steelbook case, a digital soundtrack, an eight-inch Kratos figure, a PS3 theme and avatars, a double multiplayer XP boost and a voucher for all future DLC.

The Special Edition includes everything listed above except for the DLC pass and statuette. Pricing details remain unknown, but Sony advises that the European PlayStation Blog will be updated with more information soon.
