The Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed release date has been set for 18 October across PC and consoles.
The title comes from Friday the 13th The Game and Predator Hunting Grounds developer IllFonic and is similarly a 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer title.
“As a Ghostbuster, join with other Ghostbusters to chase and trap ghosts in museums, prisons, hotels, and more, and capture the ghosts before they can fully haunt the areas,” Illfonic said of the game.
“As the Ghost, hide, sneak, surprise, scare, and of course, slime Ghostbusters and civilians until the everything has gone completely spooky. Use trickery, deception, and Ectoplasm to gain the upper hand and drive the Ghostbusters out.”
Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed is planned for an 18 October release on Windows PC via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4 and PS5.
