Ghostbusters Remastered has been confirmed for current-gen

Update: The ghost is out of the trap — PlayStation has lead the charge with a confirmation the remaster’s a thing.

A release date hasn’t yet been named, but Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered has been confirmed for Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4 and Switch. We’ll let you know when more is known.

Original story: A listing for a remastered version of Ghostbusters The Video Game has been spotted on a national classificiation website.

The Taiwanese classification website has listed Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered for release on Xbox One. Mad Dogs Games, a studio behind other titles such as NBA Playgrounds and Shaq-Fu: A Legend Reborn, looks to be behind this potential remaster.

Ghostbusters: The Video Game was first released in 2009 on Windows PC, Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3. A sequel to the popular film franchise, it featured the vocal talents of Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis, Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson, all reprising their roles as the titular Ghostbusters.
