Ghost of Tsushima runs in 60FPS on PS5 via Game Boost

Ghost of Tsushima will run in up to 60 frames-per-second (FPS) in PS5 backwards compatibility thanks to the console’s Game Boost feature.

While Sony has been relatively vague about what Game Boost can do, the publisher — alongside developer Sucker Punch — recently confirmed the feature will be able to up the PS4 game to that 60 FPS mark.

Ghost of Tsushima is one title of the 99% of PS4 games that will be backwards compatible on PS5. To be able to take advantage of your game save, you’ll either need to transfer it from your PS4 to your PS4 using a removable storage or a LAN cable, or the PlayStation Plus’ cloud storage facility if you’re a member.

Ghost of Tsushima is currently available on PS4. A special Legends multiplayer mode will be added to the game later this week.
