Ghost of Tsushima delayed into July 2020

Ghost of Tsushima has been delayed until July 2020, likely moved out of the way to make room for the new Last of Us Part 2 release date.

Taking to the PlayStation Blog, SIE head Hermen Hulst said he wanted to “personally congratulate and thank both the teams at Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch Productions on their achievements, as we know it’s not an easy feat to reach the finish line under these circumstances.”

The shift means players should expect Ghost of Tsushima on 17 July; it was originally planned for a 26 June release date. On the bright side, a listing on the PlayStation Canada website suggested we’d be waiting until August for Sucker Punch’s latest.

Expect Ghost of Tsushima on 17 July and The Last of Us Part 2 before it on 19 June. Both titles are PS4 exclusives.
