Generation 4 Pokemon are now in Pokemon Go

Generation 4 Pokemon have been added to Pokemon Go, developer Niantic has today confirmed.

Generation 4 Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, including those featured in Pokémon Diamond, Pokémon Pearl and Pokémon Platinum can now be found within the mobile game.

Pokémon including Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup are already in-game, with more Pokémon set to appear in waves.

“You can look forward to discovering even more Pokémon over the next few weeks appearing in the wild, hatching from Eggs, and battling in raids,” Niantic confirmed.

Pokémon Go is available now on iOS and Android. Having trouble turning off AR after the Generation 4 update? We’ve got some helpful tips here.
