Gears of War 4: Season Two brings new characters, returning maps and more

Gears of War 4‘s Season Two of multiplayer action has been released, offering gamers two new (slash old) maps, cards and more.

All up, thirteen new characters have been added to the game, with Armored versions of Sam and Anya leading the charge. Also key to the content update are two remastered, returning maps: Blood Drive and Clocktower.

Over 260 new cards will also be introduced to play, offering up new skin sets across a variety of categories.

Additionally, penalties will be placed upon those who either quit out or go dormant in matches. For those who quit out, a “Join in Progress” function will let you rejoin the action and forego a slap on the wrist.

Finally, “Season Pass” holders will be able to claim a bonus Bounty Gear Pack each Friday as part of the update.

Gears of War 4 is available on Windows PC and Xbox One.
