Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta: Rewards, timings and more

Codes for Gears of War 4‘s multiplayer beta will soon be distributed to gamers.

To receive a code, gamers were required to play Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One or Windows PC. Codes will start to be distributed later tonight and will be done so chronologically from when Ultimate Edition was actually played. Played it on day one? Then you’ll, theoretically, be one of the first to receive a code.

All up, codes should be fully distributed by 22 April.

Once in, The Coalition has also detailed that players will be able to earn rewards for the full verison of Gears of War 4. The following will be gifted to those players that reach level 20 in the beta:

  • Vintage Kait Character Skin
  • Vitage Weapon Skins for the Lancer and Pistol
  • Vintage Kait Emblem – used to customize in-game identity
  • Unique Bounty Card – Offers Double XP for use in one match

Nice, right?

Have fun in the beta!
