Gears Tactics console release timed for Xbox Series launch

A Gears Tactics console release will be timed for the launch of the Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles on 10 November, Microsoft and The Coalition have tonight confirmed.

“And in even bigger news… [Gears Tactics] comes to console on November 10,” the official Gears Twitter account tweeted. From the tweet, it’s extremely likely the console version will run on Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles alike.

Gears Tactics was launch on Windows PC via Windows 10 Store and Steam in April of this year. We gave the game an 8.5 in our review, liking it quite a bit.

Gears Tactics will be available on Xbox Game Pass, meaning subscribers won’t have to pay an additional charge to play the game (or play again on console) in November. Microsoft also announced that EA Play will soon be rolled into the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Xbox Game Pass for PC plans.
