Gears of War Reloaded release date set for 26 August on PC, Xbox, PS5

Mark those calendars.

Gears of War Reloaded now has a release date of 26 August, Microsoft today announced at its Summer Game Fest livestream.

The title — a remake of Gears of War Ultimate Edition — heads to Windows PC, Xbox Series consoles, and PS5 at that time.

“An all-new trailer showcases the iconic gameplay and cinematics that changed gaming forever, now lovingly remastered,” Microsoft said on its blog. “This is the definitive release, optimized for each platform, featuring 4K textures, 60 FPS in Campaign, 120 FPS in Multiplayer, cross-play, cross-progression and more.”

Moreover, “a two-weekend Multiplayer Beta begins June 13, taking place across all platforms, for Game Pass Ultimate/Game Pass PC members, owners of the digital version of Gears of War Ultimate Edition, and those with Gears of War Reloaded preorders,” Microsoft today advised.

Expect Gears of War Reloaded from 26 August on Windows PC via Steam, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS5, and via Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Play Anywhere.
