Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta starts in April

Gears of War 4 will sport a multiplayer beta in April.

Starting 18 April, those who’ve purchased and played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will gain access to the multiplayer beta. From 25 April, everyone else with an Xbox Live Gold subscription can join in. Beta access runs until 1 May.

Those who want access to the beta right from the get-go will have to play Ultimate Edition ahead of 11 April.

Gears of War 4 heads to Xbox One later in 2016.
