Gears of War 4: Check out the Ultimate and Collector’s Editions

Microsoft today announced Gears of War 4‘s Ultimate and Collector’s Editions.

The Ultimate Edition, now available for pre-order, contains the game’s “Season Pass” alongside “permanent access” to 24 DLC maps available for “private play on dedicated servers”. The edition also includes a dev playlist with access to test maps and modes ahead of official release.

Finally, the pack also contains six Gear packs that contain unlockable skins and emblems. It’s set at a placeholder price of $139.95 AUD on EB Games Australia’s site.

The Collector’s Edition contains everything in the Ultimate Edition, plus the JD statue seen in the images above alongside a frag grenade keychain and lithographs. It has a placeholder price of $329.95 AUD.

Those who purchase either edition will also get early access to the game, four days ahead of the game’s official release.

Gears of War 4 is an Xbox One exclusive available from 7 October.
