Forza Motorsport has cross-progression between Xbox and Steam

Excellent!

Forza Motorsport will feature cross-progression across Xbox and Steam for the first time in the franchise, Microsoft today announced.

Those playing between Xbox and Steam will be able to take advantage of both shared progression and Achievements unlocks. While Forza Motorsport is of course available on Xbox and PC as part of Xbox and PC Game Pass, you’ll need to purchase the Steam version of the title separately.

Moreover, Microsoft today confirmed that the Nürburgring GP circuit will be available at the racer’s 10 October launch, and that the Nordschleife will follow in 2024.

The Premium Edition of the title will also provide up to five days of early access.

Expect Forza Motorsport from 10 October on Windows PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and Xbox Cloud Gaming.
