Forza Motorsport 7 end of life coming September

The racing title will no longer be up for sale after 15 September.

Forza Motorsport 7 will reach its end of life status on 15 September, meaning the racing title will no longer be up for digital purchase past that time.

The game and all its DLC will be removed from the Microsoft Store from that time, though anyone who already owns the game will still be able to download and play it past that point. Online services including multiplayer will remain available beyond that date as well.

The title will likely be available in physical shops if you’re desperate for it. Moreover, those players who don’t own the base game but have purchased DLC for it — likely because they didn’t need to “own” the game outright with the subscription service — will be provided a token for the base game so they can continue playing it.

Forza Motorsport 7 will be followed by Forza Motorsport, though a date for Turn 10’s newest racer has not yet been made available. Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 5 heads to Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X as part of Xbox Game Pass on 9 November.
