Forza Horizon 5 PS5 release date set as 29 April

Or earlier if you want to pay more.

Forza Horizon 5 is the latest Xbox exclusive to be heading to PS5, and will do so from 29 April. That is, unless you want to bump up the PS5 release date by spending more money.

Those who pay for the Premium Edition, which is $149.95 AUD, will be able to play from 25 April instead.

“The PlayStation 5 version of Forza Horizon 5, developed by Panic Button in partnership with Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games, will have the same content as the Xbox and PC releases of the game,” Microsoft said. “Previously released Car Packs, as well as the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions, will also be available for purchase.”

Forza Horizon 5 will join previous Xbox exclusives Sea of Thieves, Grounded, and Pentiment on PS5. Moreover, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will also head to PS5 in a similar timeframe as this.

Forza Horizon 5 is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series S & X, also part of Xbox Game Pass. It heads to PS5 from 29 April 2025. We reviewed it here.
