Fortnite Shared Wallet now works on PlayStation

Your wallet now works all platforms apart from Switch.

The Fortnite Shared Wallet now works on PlayStation, slowly inching the service towards all platforms that the popular battle royale game exists on.

Prior to today, the Shared Wallet system was functional between Xbox consoles, PC, Android and cloud gaming services, meaning the only hold out is the Nintendo Switch.

As per the Fortnite blog, users will have to link any accounts from platforms they play Fortnite on with their Epic Games account. Once that’s done, all V-Bucks purchased on non-Switch platforms will be accessible across all others.

The keyword above is “purchased”.

“As always, V-Bucks earned on any platform through the Battle Pass, Quest Packs, or Save the World are shared across all other platforms,” Epic Games stressed.

Fortnite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch. It’s also available on iOS, Android and PC via cloud-based streaming.
