Fortnite Season 5 brings Baby Yoda, The Mandalorian and Kratos

Who'd win in a fight against the God of War and The Mando?

Fresh off the back of a massive event featuring Marvel’s Galactus, Fortnite will switch it up in Season 5 with the introduction of The Mandalorian‘s Baby Yoda and titular bounty hunter. Moreover, God of War‘s Kratos will also feature as part of the season.

Chapter 2 Season 5 is all about an exposed Zero Point, requiring the best hunters to help save… whatever it is we’re supposed to save. The Mandalorian is clearly part of that roster, featured as part of a story trailer embedded below. Additional characters include a man made out of pancakes (Mancake the Fighting Flapjack, if you must know), Agent Jones (who also features in the trailer) and more.

In terms of Kratos, it appears as though a God of War skin will be available at some point. The fictional Agent Jones has made the jump over to real-life social media to promote the upcoming season, and one of his audio logs has wound up on the PlayStation account.

“The next guy [I’m] picking up has literally vanquished MULTIPLE GODS, ” Jones says, “with his bare hands. In a fit of uncontrollable rage.”

Shortly after the audio log dropped, Fortnite leaker HypeX posted the image of the Kratos skin (shown above). Neat, eh?

Fortnite is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S & X, PS4, PS5, Switch and maybe smartphones.
