Fortnite Ninja skin coming later this week

A Fortnite Ninja skin will be available in-game later this week, Epic Games has confirmed.

Available between 11.00 am AEDT on 17 January and 12.00 pm AEDT on 20 January, the Ninja Fortnite skin will be available in the in-game Item Shop and includes:

  • Ninja outfit
  • Ninja’s Edge Back Bling
  • Ninja Emote: a victory dance called the ‘Pon Pon’
  • Dual Katanas Pickaxe

Epic is calling the initiative the Icon series and promised that’ll soon see skins honouring Loserfruit, TheGrefg and “more creators from games, music and entertainment.”

“I’ve dreamt of having a skin in Fortnite since I started playing the game,” Ninja said of the content. “Today, my dream becomes reality. Get the Ninja Fortnite Skin in the Epic store Thursday 6 p.m. CST-Sunday 7 p.m. Don’t forget to use code NINJA!”

Ninja’s currently streaming Fornite and wearing his own skin. Yeah… it sounds weird when we put it that way. Check out the stream below.

Fortnite is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS and Android devices.
