Fortnite asks fans if they want crossovers with Resident Evil, more

Ratchet & Clank versus Ethan Winters & Lady Dimitrescu?

Fortnite is surveying its players, asking them which franchises they’d like to see new crossovers with. Potential franchises include the likes of Resident Evil, Spider-Man and even Ratchet & Clank.

In a survey sent via email, developer Epic Games asked players “out of the following Video Game Characters, please select each one that you have definitely seen or heard of.” While that’s not directly asking which characters players would like to see next, it stands to reason that the most popular are also characters that players have awareness of.

The survey included the likes of Resident Evil‘s Ethan Winters and Lady Dimitrescu (Resident Evil Villageand RE3′s Jill Valentine alongside Mega-Man, Spider-Man, Grand Theft Auto‘s CJ and Ratchet from Ratchet & Clank.

Speaking with Game Informer, Epic asserted that the survey wasn’t a sign of characters to come.

“I can confirm that we send out surveys like this all the time to our players – though, of course, they’re in no way indicative of what we’re bringing into the game or timing of releases,” an Epic Games representative said.

Fortnite is currently available on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Switch.
