Fitness Boxing announced for Nintendo Switch

Fitness Boxing was today announced for Nintendo Switch.

Available from 4 January 2019, the fitness title will be available at both retail and via the Nintendo eShop. It will combine boxing-based workouts with “instrumental versions of some popular music hits.”

Boxing sessions range from 10 to 40 minutes in length, offering low- and high-intensity options, Nintendo advised.

“The game can estimate your calories burnt based on the approximate body mass index (BMI),” a press release reads. “As you continue on your fitness journey, you can earn more songs and will also have the opportunity to engage with more challenging training circuits.”

A two-player mode will also let players box each other using Joy-Con controllers.

Expect Fitness Boxing from 4 January 2019 on Nintendo Switch.
