Final Fantasy 7 Remake Xbox One release outed by Xbox Germany

A Final Fantasy 7 Remake Xbox One release has been accidentally outed thanks to a tweet made by Xbox Germany.

The tweet, now deleted, featured a video that heralded the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake on Xbox One, timed for the same release date already confirmed for PS4: 3 March 2020. The tweet is below:

Likely sporting the worst poker face ever, Xbox German’s Marketing Communications and Social lead, Maxi Gräff, said, “Hey. We did an internal mistake in the Social Team. We took the video off immediately. Sorry, no announcement on our side. Big apologies for this.”

Do you believe Gräff? Yeah… we don’t either.

For now, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is confirmed for a 3 March 2020 release on PS4. We’re thinking it’ll also be available on Xbox One (and maybe even PC?).
