Final Fantasy 16 announced, is a PlayStation console exclusive

Final Fantasy 16 was today announced during the PS5 Showcase event and was also confirmed as a PlayStation console exclusive.

Decidedly Final Fantasy, there’s also a medieval, Witcher-like vibe coming off the title. There are also some decidedly English accents coming from its characters. In true Final Fantasy style, I honestly couldn’t tell you what was going on, but Square Enix added this gem to the announcement trailer: “The legacy of the crystals has shaped our history for long enough…”

Expect Final Fantasy 16 on Windows PC and PS5. A release date wasn’t given.
