FIFA 22 cross-play test coming to PS5, Xbox Series and Stadia

FIFA 22 cross-play test is in the works, available to those on PS5, Xbox Series S & X and Stadia.

The test will include cross-play in both online versions of Seasons and friendlies, with collected data helping EA to fully release cross-play functionality into the game.

Once the test is live, players will be able to opt-in via a widget that will be displayed in the bottom right of the game’s menus. Those who opt in and opt out at any time.

If you’d like to opt in and play with a friend on another platform, you’ll be able to search for them using their information including an EA username. Invitations to friends are sent through the same in-menu widget.

FIFA 22 is available now on Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PS4, PS5 and Stadia.
