Sony’s first-person VR shooter Farpoint, Wii-like peripheral out in May

Sony today confirmed that Farpoint, its very own virtual reality shooter, will head to PS4 and PlayStation VR in May.

The first-person shooter “transports you to a distant alien world where you’ll need to contend with hostile lifeforms and hazardous environments as you explore your surroundings, piece together what happened and search for a way home,” according to Sony.

The title is being developed by Impulse Gear.

Farpoint is available from 17 May as a standalone game for $89.95 AUD or bundled along with the PS VR aim perhiperal (pictured above) for $129.95 AUD.
